Basel town hall

To see red.

Basel | Switzerland

The town hall, locally known as the "Rathaus" is the seat of the Basel canton government since the XIVth century and a colourful building that looks over the market square, at the centre of the old town.
Although this monument was modified in the XVIth century and at the beginning of the XXth, its original appearance is still intact, even though its renaissance and gothic apparel are mixed with historicism and art nouveau, these styles confer an even more refined charm.
